Nimisha Patel BSc MCOptom DipTp(IP) Prof Cert Glauc Prof Cert Med Ret brings an exceptional depth of knowledge and clinical experience to Crofton Park Opticians. With advanced qualifications in independent prescribing, glaucoma, and medical retina, she demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering the highest standard of care. She particularly enjoys paediatric optometry, taking great pride in supporting children’s visual development and making eye care a positive experience for her young patients. Her insight, skill, and professionalism consistently exceed expectations, reflecting her dedication to excellence and outstanding patient care. 

Karen brings over 4 decades of experience as a qualified dispensing optician, offering an exceptional depth of knowledge and expertise. Throughout her long and distinguished career, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of eyewear dispensing, patient care, and optical solutions. She also has a particular fondness for quirky, colourful and distinctive frames, enjoying helping patients find eyewear that truly reflects their personality while maintaining excellent visual performance. 

Rudi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience within the optical industry. After leaving school, he began his career at the age of 19 with a lens manufacturer, where he built a strong foundation in optical products and processes. He has since further expanded his expertise through working in independent opticians, gaining valuable hands-on experience and a deep understanding of patient care and practice operations. He also has a strong passion for high-quality spectacles and the importance of delivering the best possible visual solutions to patients 

Since joining us in 2019, Cynthia has firmly established herself as a valued and trusted member of the team. She brings a positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine care for both patients and colleagues. Her warm, friendly personality and natural ability to put people at ease have made her a firm favourite with our patients, many of whom look forward to seeing her on their visits. Cynthia’s presence adds both character and heart to the practice, and she plays an important role in creating the welcoming atmosphere we are known for.  

Joanne is new to Crofton Park Opticians and is eager to learn all aspects of working within a well-respected opticians. She is looking forward to developing her knowledge, skills, and understanding of the practice while becoming a valued member of the team
